Tour Description

Turan Peak is located in the upper reaches of Big Almaty gorge. The peak height is 3970 meters. The summit is located in the area of Big Almaty Lake, between Karnizniy and Tourist peaks, not far from the Cosmostation.

Ski touring to Turan peak takes one day. This is one of the most easily accessible ski touring routes in the spring.
