Tour Description

Karkara is a unique place in the south-east of Kazakhstan, located at the junction of the Central and Northern Tien-Shan.

The high-altitude plateau of the Kegen valley, through which the Karkara River flows, stretches at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level. An incredible landscape will appear before our eyes during the ski touring here: a snowy valley from the north rests against the peaks of the Ketmen ridge.

Our base camp will be at an altitude of 2200 meters. It is from here that our ski-touring routes in Karkara will start.

We will live in comfortable double rooms with hot showers, equipped with everything you need.
