Tour Description

Three full days of backcountry with accommodation on the Talgar Pass (3163 meters). Easy access, interesting lines, glaciers and peaks — all this awaits you in the Talgar Pass Backcountry program.

Every day you will have a backcountry at one of the peaks (Chkalovka, Shkolnik, Edelweiss, Abay, Fizkulturnic) or the Til, Ayak and Bagdanovich glaciers.

On the Talgar pass located the upper station of the gondola road of the Shymbulak ski resort. We will use the gondola lift to get the pass quickly and easily.

Accommodation is possible in a mountain hut or in a Kazakh ethnic yurt located on the pass.

At your request, the program can be extended for 1-3 days.

The price of the program includes a gondola lift from Medeo station and a ski pass at the first day, guide services, accomodation in a hut.
Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner (not included) in the cafes and restaurants of Shymbulak resort.

Skis with ski-touring bindings or splitboard
Ski/snowboard boots(for skiers with system of switching to walking mode)
Skins
Poles
Avalanche equipment(shovel, probe and transceiver)
Backpack of volume at least 40+ liters with ski/snowboard fixation
Goggles
Helmet
Gloves
Sunscreen and sunglasses
Head torch
Thermos with tea, water tank or camelback
Extra set of warm clothes for a night in the mountains
Extra pair of shoes(sneakers or lightweight trekking shoes)
Warm sleeping bag
