Tour Description

Great spot for winter ski touring and freeriding near Almaty. Wide fields and good slope.

From the top you can see a fantastic view of the mountains, the city and the Shymbulak ski resort.

Ascent: about 4-5 hours.
Altitude difference: 900 meters.
Route difficulty: medium.
Starting point: Medeo skating rink.

Season:
December, January, February.

Avalanche equipment(shovel, probe and transceiver)
Backpack of volume at least 30+ liters with ski/snowboard fixation
Goggles

Sunscreen and sunglasses
Thermos with tea, water tank or camelback
Snacks(bars, muesli, special mount nutrition)
