Sergey Brodskiy is a professional KMGA-qualified mountain guide and mountain rescue specialist, a former member of the Kazakhstan national mountaineering team, and a nationally-recognised mountaineer with several 8,000m and 7,000m peaks under his belt. He is also an avalanche safety specialist certified by Snow Control Gmbh (Innsbruck, Austria).

Sergey Brodskiy has 20 years of experience in the mountains, including in the Tien-Shan, Altay and Caucasus as a guide, instructor and avalanche safety professional. Participated in expeditions to the Himalayas, Karakorum, Pamir. He started ski touring in 2012.

He’s been Kazakhstan national mountaineering champion on several occasions, as well as a prize-winner in open competitions among mountaineers in Kyrgyzstan and across the CIS. He also took first place in a competition for the fastest ascent of Peak Belukha, in the Altay.
